OUR STORY
Named For A Place. Made Into a Home.
Not a hotel with a spa you won't use. And not a serviced apartment that hands you a key fob and wishes you luck.
The Marloes takes its name from the crescent it lives on — and the crescent takes its name from Marloes, a coastal village in Pembrokeshire chosen by a Victorian surveyor honouring the landholding roots of the Barons Kensington, who once owned this land. That is a long chain of connection for a quiet street in SW5. We rather like it.
What we landed on was a house. Where the bed is genuinely excellent, the kitchen is genuinely equipped, and the person on the door is genuinely pleased to see you. A house with European oak on the floors, a Ruark radio on the counter, and a garden crescent of Victorian London outside the window.
